Beary Special & Dixieland Dolls and Darlings National Site

Hello,
I am Cheryl Hudgins, the National Director of Dixieland Dolls & Darlings and
A Beary Special National Pageant.

I am the mother of 3 children (Bernie, Amanda, and Brooke)
and grandmother of 5 (Caitlyn, Colton, Kelton, Kolby, and baby Kambree). I have been married to a wonderful man, Jim Hudgins, for 30 years.
In addition to being a wife, mother, grandmother, and pageant director, I am also a high school Algebra Teacher and a Christian.

I started pageants almost 30 years ago when i saw an ad in the paper for what was then Tiny Dixie Darling, we showed up with what i thought was a beautiful dress and black shoes. Lets just say , I have learned a lot through the years and what was then
Tiny Dixie Darling is now today DIXIELAND DOLLS & DARLINGS.

Many wonderful people have come through the doors of Dixieland such as
Singers Justin Timberlake and Chris Young
Past Miss Tenn and Miss USA Rachel Smith and Tucker Perry
and many more.

Through the years my husband and I have strived to make Dixieland and Beary Special two of the best pageants in the country. We try to give them at the best locations possible, offer the most titles (taking care of both new and seasoned competitors), the best and biggest crowns and some of the biggest cash awards in the pageant industry.
